Microblading
Truly Exceptional Results
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a technique performed with a hand held tool in which hair strokes are created using a disposable microneedle. The needle deposits pigment into the dermis layer of the skin ensuring for a crisp, natural looking brow that lasts.
Before:
Botox should be received at least 3 weeks prior to microblading service
No chemical peels 2 months prior to microblading service (light peel atleast 2 weeks prior)
No Retinols/Retin-A’s, or other facial products containing acids for 2 weeks prior to microblading
Do NOT work out the day of the procedure
Do Not tan or have a sun burned face
Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, fish oil, alcohol or caffeine 24 hours prior (may cause blood thinning and or increased anxiety)
Do NOT wax or tint eyebrows 3 days prior to microblading service
Be off Accutane for 1 year
During:
Before any actual microbalding is performed I take the time to work with my client in building the perfect brow shape, length and width for the given individual.
Once this is achieved and approved, the numbing process will begin in order to insure that you feel very little to nothing throughout the rest of the procedure. NOTE: Some technicians wait till the “second pass” of strokes before applying any sort of numbing agent
When the numbing is complete the strokes are placed inserting the customized pigment that is selected based on skin undertones and clients desired results
Lastly, we will discuss the recommended after care regimen designed to help you get the best healed results
***A touch up will be performed once the initial microblading strokes have fully healed, about 4-6 weeks out. If any pigment failed to deposit completely, adjustments in pigment color or brow shape is needed it will be corrected.
After:
Botox should not be received until 3 weeks following microblading procedure
No chemical peels until after at least 60 days (causes fading)
No Retinols/Retin-A’s, or other facial products containing acids until at least six weeks after touch up (these ingredients will cause any pigment deposited to fade prematurely)
DO NOT GET BROWS WET, WORKOUT OR SWEAT FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS after receiving microblading (Increasing body heat opens pores allowing sweat to enter easily- salt in sweat may cause pigment to not take at all, fade or blur)
Do not tan for at least 1 month (preferably never, as UV rays are likely to cause premature fading, skin cancer and wrinkles!)
